November 2022 will be a great month for Black Friday gaming PC deals. Not only will we see the usual range of limited-time offers on pre-built machines and components, but with 40-series GPUs launching in the same 30-day window, we’re bound to see some price cuts on the ever-elusive 30-series GPUs as well.
Based on previous years, a Black Friday deal can save you hundreds on any of the best gaming PCs on the market. We expect many of our favorites to come down in price, especially as they could soon be replaced as top contenders by the 40 Series machines that will be rolling out soon. If you find yourself needing a replacement before Black Friday starts, they’re here cheap gaming pc deals every month. However, if you stick with it, you will definitely find the best deals of the year in just a few weeks.
The Amazon Early Access sale took place in October, and that seems like a good indication of what’s to come in 2022 in terms of game deals. During the Early Access sale, we saw 30-series graphics cards and PCs at very reasonable discounts, which tells us the waters were being tested for Black Friday.
If you’re looking for a gaming powerhouse that you can use on the go, the Black Friday gaming laptop deals should be your next port of call.

Black Friday Gaming PC Deals: Frequently Asked Questions
When do Black Friday gaming PC deals start?
Black Friday 2022 officially kicks off on November 25. However, as is often the case with large-scale peak trading events, some retailers turn their noses up at the competition by launching certain offers in the days before. Thanksgiving in the US is on the 24th, so anticipate some bargains going live to celebrate. Deals can be found all weekend, and of course all roads lead through Cyber Monday on the 28th. Keep your eyes peeled for our live coverage to stay up to date.
Black Friday gaming PC deals: what to expect
We expect the biggest and most well-known brands to offer some of the biggest discounts for Black Friday gaming PCs. Based on last year, Dell had heavy discounts, especially on their Alienware Aurora computers. For example, the Alienware Aurora R12, the best value Alienware gaming PC in our opinion, saw a $608 dollar savings during last year’s Black Friday event. And for those who don’t know, that’s a PC with an Intel Core i7 CPU and RTX 3060 Ti GPU. That type of machine retailing for just $1,371 should tell you exactly what to expect for Black Friday gaming PC deals. To stay up to date with their great range of gaming PCs, monitors and peripherals, visit our Black Friday Alienware Deals page.
As we mentioned above, be prepared for some exciting bargains on GPUs as well. NVIDIA’s RTX 4090 was released earlier in October, kicking off the staggered release of the 40 series in the coming months. The RTX 4080, for instance, launches on November 16, and will handily hit shelves before Black Friday. For years it was almost impossible to get your hands on the 30 Series due to chip shortages and supply chain issues, and now that they’re finally starting to meet market demand, we’re expecting some pretty ridiculous price discounts in the next month. In short, it’s an exciting time to be a PC gamer.
What does this mean for pre-builds? Well, as the 40-series GPUs begin to roll out, so will pre-built machines that include them. Just as the 30 Series components will most likely come down in price and hopefully go on sale for Black Friday, we’re expecting some exciting deals on some of our favorite gaming PCs from 2022 onwards. There’s good news for the budget buyer, too, as events like Black Friday are great opportunities for less dominant brands to join the conversation.
Where to get the best Black Friday gaming PC deals?
When it comes to the best Black Friday gaming PC deals, we’ve generally seen Dell have some of the biggest discounts on high-end gaming rigs (namely the Alienware Aurora line), but the major retailers are always a safe bet. Amazon is a given, but Best Buy and Walmart have been more present with computer hardware in recent years.

Will it be cheaper to build or buy a gaming PC in 2022?
In the short term, buying a gaming PC will definitely work out cheaper – especially around Black Friday. PC components, especially those aimed at the gaming market, are undeniably expensive. For example, an RTX 3050 graphics card is at the entry level of the 30 series. That part alone will cost you between $250 and $300 (£270-£300). It could be even more depending on when and where you buy. If you’re looking at pre-built gaming PCs, you can get pretty good entry-level options for between $550 and $750 (£700-£1000 in the UK).
In the long run, building your PC can work out cheaper, but especially if you’re looking for your first gaming PC, we recommend paying more attention to the pre-built market. If building is the path you choose, you can love it Black Friday CPU Deals and great Black Friday SSD deals at.
Is it worth waiting until Black Friday to buy a gaming PC?
Given what we’ve seen over the past few years, pre-built gaming PCs see their biggest price cuts around Black Friday. According to the Adobe 2022 Christmas Shopping Report (opens in new tab), computers in the US saw a 15% decline across the board between the end of October and the end of November. By a reasonable margin, the lowest prices are seen in the last weeks of November, right when Black Friday always hits.
Unless it’s an absolute emergency, we strongly recommend that you wait to buy a gaming PC during the Black Friday period. This is especially true if you look at the top of the specs, or PCs with RTX 30 series GPUs.
If you want to get an idea of the kind of price cuts underway for Black Friday, take a look at the lists below. Some of last year’s deals were insane, so that’ll help you decide if Black Friday bargains are worth the wait.
