Prisco’s Week 12 NFL Picks: Cowboys, Bills Blow Out Opponents On Thanksgiving; Titans take revenge on Bengal

It finally happened. I had a good week in all three areas of game picking.

I went 4-2 on my best bets as part of the Pick Six podcast, 11-3 straight up and 7-5-2 against the spread in my expert picks.

That raises my best betting record to 38-25-2, which I’m happy about. The regular record is now 95-69 and the ATS record is 74-82-8. The latter should get back above .500, so that’s the target for the next few weeks.

Let’s hope the holiday week is good for me, starting with a Thanksgiving sweep in games featuring teams with some impressive records.

Thursday, 12:30 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Recommended game | Detroit Lions vs Buffalo Bills

This has the characteristics of a game with a lot of attack. Both teams can score, but the Bills can really score. They will put up a big number here as Josh Allen wins a second straight game in Detroit after beating the Browns in the same building last week. The job is fast and the bills can fly. The Lions can’t keep up.

Choose: Bills 40, Lions 23

Thursday, 4:30 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game | Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants

The Giants have had a terrible showing at home against the Lions, which means they may have been looking forward to this. The Cowboys set things right in their sweeping victory over the Vikings. The defense dominated and will dominate here too. The Giants are too limited offensively.

Choose: Cowboys 31, Giants 14

Thursday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC, FuboTV)

Recommended game | Minnesota Vikings vs New England Patriots

The Vikings were embarrassed at home on Sunday and blown away by the Cowboys. They will bounce back here and play better. The New England offense is struggling, but the defense is playing well. Still, I think the Vikings will respond in this attack to win it. The Patriots offense is bad.

Choose: Vikings 24, Patriots 14

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game | Carolina Panthers vs Denver Broncos

This is the dog game of the week with two terrible fouls. First 1 in 10 wins? Denver has the better defense, but at home I think the Panthers will find a way to win this one. Denver continues to struggle.

Choose: Panthers 17, Broncos 13

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game | Cleveland Browns v Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Coming out of the bye in first place, the Bucs look poised to start their season as they expected. They’re getting healthier, and that’s going to matter along the way, starting right here in this one. The Browns defend poorly, so expect Tom Brady to have a solid day. Browns running game is limited. Bucs takes it.

Choose: Bucs 30, Browns 17

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Recommended game | Jacksonville Jaguars v Baltimore Ravens

The Jaguars are coming off their bye with a tough home game against the Ravens. Baltimore’s defense has come alive in recent weeks and will present a real challenge for Trevor Lawrence. Lamar Jackson and the assailant must pick it up. This will be a low score, but it’s close.

Choose: Raven 21, Jaguar 20

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Recommended game | Miami Dolphins vs Houston Texans

The Dolphins come out of their farewell as big favorites. The Texans could make a quarterback substitution, but it doesn’t matter. The Dolphins have been explosive on offense all year, and that won’t change this season. Tua Tagovailoa keeps it rolling in a blowout.

Choose: Dolphins 36, Texans 14

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game | New York Jets vs Chicago Bears

This won’t be pretty if Justin Fields can’t play. Both violations would be severely restricted. The Jets have the much better defense, one that is about to become dominant. That’s the difference no matter who plays quarterback for these two.

Choose: Jets 20, Bears 14

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Recommended game | Tennessee Titans vs Cincinnati Bengals

This is a rematch of last January’s playoff game in which the Bengals upset the Titans en route. The Bengals have been playing much better lately, playing back-to-back road games, while the Titans are rested after playing last Thursday. Derrick Henry wasn’t himself when they played in the playoffs last season. He is now. Titans take it after his run.

Choose: Titans 27, Bengals 21

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game | Washington Commanders vs Atlanta Falcons

This is a kind of playoff game. Both teams are alive and kicking. Washington turned the season around thanks to its defense. Taylor Heinicke also plays at the right time. The Falcons are limited in attack, and that’s the difference. Washington remains hot.

Choose: Commanders 27, Falcons 17

Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Recommended game | Arizona Cardinals vs Los Angeles Chargers

The Cardinals looked terrible losing to the 49ers in Mexico and are now playing with their playoff hopes on the line. The Chargers are coming off with a loss to the Chiefs, but they showed some life in that game on offense. That continues as Justin Herbert has a big day.

Choose: Chargers 30, Cardinals 20

Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Recommended game | Los Angeles Rams vs Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks are coming off a bye as the Raiders play a second game in a row. Bad combination. The Raiders have major defensive problems, which will show up against a good Seattle offense. Geno Smith and the Seahawks take it.

Choose: Seahawks 31, Raiders 24

Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game | Kansas City Chiefs v Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are a mess, while the Chiefs are held in high esteem. The Rams have health issues and probably won’t have Matthew Stafford. That is a problem. The Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes and he will split this Rams defense. Blown out city.

Choose: Leaders 37, Rams 13

Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game | San Francisco 49ers v New Orleans Saints

The 49ers pull off an impressive victory over the Cardinals in Mexico. They seem to be rolling with all their weapons on the attack. The Saints beat the Rams last week, with Andy Dalton playing well. I think they will hang in this game as the 49ers have a short week. It’s closer than expected.

Choose: 49ers 24, Saints 20

Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC, FuboTV)

Recommended game | Philadelphia Eagles vs Green Bay Packers

The Packers’ playoff chances are barely alive, but this is a real challenge to try and keep them alive. Aaron Rodgers didn’t play well last week, but I think he’s playing better here. The Eagles haven’t looked great in the past two games. The Packers keep it close.

Choose: Eagles 26, Packers 21

Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN, FuboTV)

Recommended game | Indianapolis Colts vs Pittsburgh Steelers

The Colts appeared to be going 2-0 under Jeff Saturday last week, but belatedly blew a lead against the Eagles. The Steelers stuck around against the Bengals, with Kenny Pickett better at quarterback. The Steelers defense is much better with TJ Watt in the back, and I think that front will keep the Steelers in this game.

Choose: Colts 20, Steelers 19
