Warzone is finally here and the new DMZ mode is fantastic. That said, currently it’s only three-man squads, but can you solo Warzone DMZ if you try hard enough?
We’ve made it our mission to defy the odds and get a win in DMZ without other team members actively participating.
Read on to discover how it’s possible to go it alone in Warzone’s latest game mode.
Warzone 2 Can you play DMZ solo?

So first, you need to follow a few steps if you even want to try this Warzone 2 experience. As we mentioned, you currently have to go into three-man teams to take on this game mode, but there is a workaround.
Go to a DMZ lobby and make sure ‘Squad Fill’ is turned off. That way when you start matchmaking you should be dumped into a game on your own with no squad members.

Now comes the tricky part: staying alive. Obviously, this is a one-life game mode, so if you go down, it’s game over for you. Normally your team would be able to resuscitate you, but you’ve decided to forego such niceties.
So get ready, and we’ll get into how you need to act to survive this mode on your own.
Warzone 2 How to Survive Alone in DMZ

Okay, so there are a few things you need to do if you want to survive this alone. We have a few tips that can make your life easier, which we’ve covered in the list below.
Be quiet
Since you’re going solo in Warzone 2 DMZ, you should draw as little attention as possible. Only fire your weapon when you need to, and even then, if you can get a weapon with a silencer, so much the better.
Stay out of the guns on the edge of the map if you’re lucky enough to fall nearby. Most AI enemies won’t take this advice, so sticking to roads less traveled will make you more likely to persevere.
Keep your distance

As a general rule, in Warzone 2’s DMZ mode, you need to be very careful when approaching a target. Whether it’s your Exfil or a contract phone, you need to make sure the area is clear because most of the time it isn’t.

Objectives are the places where AI enemies can gather, and other human-controlled squads are also more likely to come to them.
Wield a ranged weapon and take out enemies from a distance before heading towards your goal.
Don’t stop moving
By this advice, we don’t mean to keep sprinting everywhere (that’s a bad idea). Instead, it simply means that once you take out a few enemies from a safe location, that location won’t stay safe for long.
Once enemies know where you are, staying in place is suicide. It’s best, especially when attacking a fixed location, to keep moving around the perimeter to find new vantage points.
Don’t wait too close to Exfil

The final piece of advice for anyone playing DMZ solo is to not wait for the Exfil to arrive anywhere near the exfil. Bushes and similar cover also offer insufficient protection against AI opponents.
You’re likely to get knocked down if you wait in the open for exfil. Without team members, that is immediately a game over. You also can’t exfil while down, so your last priority is staying alive.
Take cover in a nearby building and try to take out as many enemies as possible to make your final sprint to the helicopter.
