Warzone 2 Solo DMZ Run Swim 1

Season 1 officially kicked off on November 16, the same day Warzone 2 launched. We had an update a few days before launch, but these are our first patch notes since that update happened.

As you’d expect, this patch is mostly about bug fixes, but there have been a few gameplay tweaks and nerfs as well. We’ve broken down the Warzone 2 and MW2 patch notes for you into chunks as they were when Raven Software featured them in the blog.

Global Patch Notes

GENERAL

  • Made improvements to better navigate Camos:
  • Added controller bumper navigation to jump between categories
  • Added a toggle to show/hide locked Camos
  • Increased audio notification for when the jailer enters the gulag

ATTACHMENTS

  • Armor-Piercing Ammo – Removed damage multiplier against armored opponents

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed collision issues with various elements in the game that allowed players to see/look/shoot through them.
  • Fixed issue with audio occlusion and directional audio.
  • Audio occlusion/directional audio has returned to normal levels following an issue with the Season 01 launch.
  • Fixed an issue where some unlocks in the Gunsmith were not tracking weapon progress.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players with Overkill to equip the same weapon as both a Primary and a Secondary.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the correct amount of Battle Pass Tokens from appearing in the Battle Pass menu.
  • Fixed an issue where the Season Countdown Timer in the Battle Pass menu was not displaying the correct amount of time remaining.
  • Fixed several incorrect texts in the in-game interface.
  • Fixed several issues that resulted in incorrect controller inputs when navigating menus.
  • Fixed an issue that caused players looking down to look erratic to others.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented some players from launching the game due to GPU compatibility.
  • Fixed an issue where the focus mode crashed the client when the view mode was set to window.
  • Fixed an issue on PlayStation where the PlayStation Store icon would stay on screen after a network error occurred.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the progress of the “Dragon in Downtown” Calling Card from being tracked.
  • Fixed an issue where the incorrect Operator icon was displayed when navigating to select a custom skin for Kleo.
  • Fixed an issue where players would go back to the main menu when navigating to select the PDSW 528 Armory while customizing a Loadout.
  • Fixed an issue that caused an incorrect progress requirement to appear in the Prestige menu.
  • Fixed several audio-related issues that caused players to hear notifications when they shouldn’t.
  • Fixed an issue where Platinum Camo unlock requirements were incorrectly displayed after unlocking.
  • Fixed several issues that caused the camera to shake while another player was watching.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the operator model’s hands to appear invisible while the ledge was hanging.
  • Fixed an issue causing the wrong weapon to appear in the Player Showcase.

Patch Notes for Warzone 2

GAME

  • Purchasing Inventory Station has been slightly modified: – Counter UAV removed – Tactical camera removed
  • Visual upgrade to contract activation phone in Battle Royale.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue that prevented some players from hearing others through Proximity Chat.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented stickers earned through DMZ extractions from appearing on weapons.
  • Fixed an issue on PlayStation preventing players from seeing Sony profile usernames.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash when deploying parachutes.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to lose all mouse movement control when interacting with a container with mixed backpack behavior.

battle royale

  • Fixed an issue where players who were knocked out in the gulag were either looking at the enemy team or watching from below the playable area.
  • Fixed an issue where players eliminated in the Gulag would not appear in the buy station for team members to buy them back.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to skip the downed state and die instantly despite having an assimilated squad member still alive.
  • Fixed an issue preventing players from jumping out of the plane during Infil.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the After Action Report from displaying correctly after a match.

DMZ

  • Fixed an issue where players would be kicked out of the Backpack interface if they looted an eliminated player-opponent who disconnected during the interaction.
  • Fixed an issue preventing players from using lethal and tactical gear.
  • Fixed an issue where players encountered a “Cannot connect to datacenters” error while extracting.
  • Fixed an issue that caused microphone input throughout the lobby during matchmaking.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to keep armor plate upgrades between matches despite being disabled.
  • Fixed an issue where players would lose their backpack upgrade when unboxing after being resurrected.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to incorrectly unpack their insured weapon as contraband.

Multiplayer – BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue where the Spotter Scope continuously marked enemy positions.
  • Fixed a development bug in private matches and stability will continue to improve.
