Dragonflight is upon us and everyone wants to know when the next WoW expansion comes out.
This is the eighth expansion for the game since it was first released in 2004. The last expansion, Shadowlands, came out in 2020, so people are vying for more WoW goodness.

WoW Dragonflight release time and date
If you’re wondering when Dragonflight’s release time is, you’re in luck. We’ve got the information you need right here. From now, the expansion becomes playable at 3pm PT/6:00 PM/23:00 GMT on November 28, 2022.
There’s a small chance that Blizzard could push that release date or time forward a bit, but it’s unlikely to be this close to release day.

Unfortunately, since the game releases on a Monday, you’ll have to wait until you finish work before you get a chance to play it. That is, unless you’re already planning to take time off for release day.
In the UK it will be almost the 29th before players can access the latest expansion, but it’s even worse in Europe where it will be midnight before the game actually becomes playable.

WoW dragon flight pre patch
If you’re really itching to start playing, you’ll want to pre-patch the game so it’s ready to go when the new content goes live.
You can get your hands on the pre-patch now if you haven’t already. To get the patch, launch your Battle.net launcher and check the area for World of Warcraft.

If you haven’t pre-patched, you should get an update/install button on the bottom left. Click that and the game should be updated with all the content you really need to play the game when the expansion stops.
If you’ve already purchased the expansion, you can also redeem your code through Battle.net’s “redeem code” feature, which should also prompt for the update.
